Another General Election

Back in 2017 I wrote a post about the then-upcoming British general election, detailing my thoughts on the polling and campaigning that was going on at the time. I also came up with a prediction, which turned out to be, well, wrong, and by a fair margin. I was not alone in thinking that the Tories were set for a majority, and thus I was at least not alone in being proven wrong when the results came in and Britain was left with a hung parliament.

Two years, six months, and 4 days later, and it seems that Britain will be heading to the polls again. As such, it’s only fitting that I should put some of my thoughts to paper once more. This isn’t going to be as expansive of a post, however, because quite frankly I’d rather save that for after the election. Here’s a tip: if you want to seem intelligent, it’s always safer to write write an analysis than it is a prediction.
